Krystal is a passionate sports dietitian, seasoned ultrarunner, race organizer, and dedicated volunteer- rumored to be a wizard with tired feet at aid stations! Since running her first marathon in 2003, she has broken 3 hours in the marathon, taken on countless ultras including the Comrades Ultra in South Africa and a recent 100 miler, and become a dedicated member of the trail running community.

Krystal blends her expertise in nutrition with her love of endurance sport, offering an empathetic perspective to the athletes she supports.

With over 15 years of experience as a certified diabetes educator, she is proficient in insulin, continuous glucose monitoring, and insulin pump technologies. Her clinical focus includes fueling before/during/after endurance sports, diabetes in sport, and nutrition across the female lifespan-including pregnancy and postpartum care. Whether you are navigating endurance sports, managing diabetes or seeking support through life’s hormonal transitions, Krystal brings a rare combination of science, lived experience and heart to every encounter.

Outside of work…

Outside of work Krystal can be found with other soccer moms at her kid’s games, chasing her two furry feline princesses, or travelling the world with her family.

Krystal's Approach

Krystal practices from a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach, prioritizing weight-neutral care that centers compassion, body trust, and client autonomy. She brings humour, empathy, and a grounded presence to her work, supported by a strong personal mindfulness practice.
